I started out as a registerted nurse but as my children grew up I returned to an early love of art. I went back to school and in 2003 received my Bachelor of Art degree in Studio Art from Millsaps College in Jackson Mississippi. I owned a studio there until Hurricane Katrina came along. I gave it up to a family who fled the water in New Orleans. We then moved to Starkville Mississippi where I had a small space in an emerging studio run by some graduate design students at Mississippi State University. I now live in Indianpolis, Indiana where I have a studio downtown in the Stutz Business Center.
